Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute (KPWHRI) Collaborative Scientist Tessa Matson, PhD, MPH, presented at the 20th Conference of INEBRIA (International Network on Brief Interventions for Alcohol and Other Drugs) in Barcelona, Spain last month. Matson talked about whether brief alcohol screening and follow-up in routine care give information about future health risks and health care use. KPWHRI coauthors on the presentation were Malia Oliver, Jennifer Bobb, and Kathy Bradley.
In December, KPWHRI Assistant Biostatistics Investigator Brian Williamson, PhD, presented at the 2024 International Conference on Statistics and Data Science in Nice, France, sponsored by the Institute of Mathematical Statistics. Williamson's presentation was titled "Nonparametric generalized raking for incomplete data."
