Dr. Lewis chairs session at national dissemination & implementation conference

On December 15, GHRI Associate Investigator Cara Lewis, PhD, was in Washington, D.C. for the 9th Annual Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation in Health. Co-hosted by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and AcademyHealth, the two-day conference focused on current and future priorities to help advance dissemination and implementation science. Dr. Lewis chaired a session titled “Advancing the Pragmatic Measures Construct and Three New Measures of Implementation Outcomes,” which looked at innovative measurement development techniques to help implementation scientists overcome common measurement barriers. Dr. Lewis kicked off the panel discussion with a presentation about her NIH-funded project to develop reliable, pragmatic measures for implementation research.
