Biography

Paula Blasi, MPH, is enthusiastic about conducting research that can improve the well-being of patients and communities. Her research interests include evidence-based medicine, evidence synthesis, and qualitative inquiry. Paula works with the Kaiser Permanente Evidence-based Practice Center (EPC) on systematic reviews of clinical preventive services for the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, and she conducts qualitative research with patient and provider populations.

Paula earned a Master of Public Health at the University of Washington, in the Community-Oriented Public Health Practice (COPHP) program. She completed a master’s capstone project with YWCA Seattle-King-Snohomish and a practicum at Public Health—Seattle & King County. Before joining KPWHRI, Paula was a writer and editor at the Advisory Board Company, a health care research and consulting firm in Washington, D.C.
