Dr. Green’s work noted by WA Health Alliance
The Washington Health Alliance, a nonprofit organization that reports on health care quality in Washington State, recently highlighted the work of Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute Senior Investigator and Washington Permanente Medical Group physician Beverly B. Green, MD, MPH. The organization releases an annual Community Checkup and this year’s report featured Dr. Green’s research on mailing home testing kits to increase rates of colon cancer screening.
Dr. Sherman on national advisory council
KPWHRI Senior Investigator Karen J. Sherman, PhD, MPH will serve as a member of the National Advisory Council for Complementary and Integrative Health from 2020 to 2024. The Council advises the Director of the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, which is part of the National Institutes of Health. Lynn DeBar, PhD, MPH, also a KPWHRI senior investigator, is a current Council member. Her service ends in July 2020.
